A Practice with Passion
DR MARIE JUDITH SAW
MBBS (Hons), BMedSci, DCH, FRACGP
Originally from Mauritius, Dr Judith graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2008 with a double bachelor’s degree in Medical Science and Medicine and Surgery with Honours. She worked at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne, Hamilton Base Hospital and finally moved to Sydney to work at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
She soon realised that her passion in medicine was the human aspect, the connections doctors can build with patients and the privilege that it is to accompany patients throughout their health journey. She made general practice her specialty. She completed a diploma in Child and Adolescent Health through the University of Sydney and Westmead Children’s Hospital in 2012 and was highly commended. She completed her fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2015. Since then she has been practicing in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.
Although she enjoys all aspects of medicine, Dr Judith’s particular interests include paediatrics, women’s health, dermatology, mental health, preventative health, and geriatrics. She is affiliated to the Royal Hospital for Women in Randwick to provide antenatal care and holds a certificate in family planning and sexual health through Family Planning Australia.
Speaking fluent French, Dr Judith has been working very closely with the French community in Sydney. She was recently appointed “Médecin Conseil du Consulat de France à Sydney”, Medical Advisor to the French Consulate in Sydney.
